By installing or using Layer Panel (“the Add-on”), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not install or use the Add-on.
Layer Panel is a free Google Slides™ add-on that provides a sidebar interface for viewing, selecting, reordering, renaming, and toggling visibility of slide elements. It is designed to replicate layer panel functionality found in other presentation and design tools.
You may use Layer Panel for personal, educational, or commercial purposes. The Add-on is provided for use within Google Slides™ through the Google Workspace Marketplace.
Layer Panel modifies your Google Slides™ presentation in the following ways:
These modifications are made directly to the presentation. Changes to z-order and element positions cannot be undone using Google Slides™’ built-in undo (Ctrl+Z).
The Add-on is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
Specifically:
In no event shall the developer of Layer Panel be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or business interruption, arising out of or in connection with the use or inability to use the Add-on.
The developer is not responsible for any unintended modifications to your presentations resulting from use of the Add-on, including but not limited to elements moved off-canvas via the hide feature or z-order changes that cannot be undone.
Layer Panel does not collect, transmit, or store any user data outside of the Google Slides™ document. For full details, see our Privacy Policy.
Layer Panel runs entirely within the Google Apps Script environment and the Google Slides™ editor. It does not integrate with or transmit data to any third-party services.
The developer reserves the right to modify, update, or discontinue the Add-on at any time without prior notice. Continued use after updates constitutes acceptance of any changes.
These Terms of Service may be updated from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the Add-on after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
